As avid outdoorsmen, hunters, and horse packers growing up west of Cedar City, Utah, Justin, Forrest, and Ben were tired of lugging their traditional, heavy wall tent into the mountains and dealing with the time intensive set-up and take-down process.
Unable to find an acceptable canvas tent product that met their needs, in 2021 they decided to make the Nomad tent and consequently, Roamin Home was born.
They leased a building in Payson, spent a scary amount of money on commercial Juki sewing machines and bulk canvas, and started making some hardcore tents.
Roamin Home is passionate about elevating the canvas wall tent camping experience for the outdoor enthusiast by providing a superior built, well designed tent made by hardworking local craftspeople.
